Change is the name of the game

As the clock strikes twelve, I look back and once again go over the events of the day.It being a Saturday I take it a little easy and with sonny down with flu, I had half my morning free as there would be no studies to take care of. The other teenager in my house ready to enter her twenties, Princess was sick too, but she decided to complete a few pending competitions in hand and so fever took a second priority. Daddy dearest decided suddenly to do away with the hired driver and decided to leave with Princess and drop her in college on the way. Quite what Princess wanted today as she was a little weak to take the train anyway.

Sonny slept on till he could and then a few strings at the guitar and a late breakfast. No rules laid to have a bath early and so mom and sonny were busy in their own world. I decide to clean her bag which is worse than crossing over the Panama canal. An hour and a half and it was done. Whoops! I guess an Eskimo would have built an igloo in that time. That done and a lot of filing done and time ticked away and it was two in the afternoon. With Sonny giving the guitar lessons a miss, Princess arrived a little later. A late lunch and then work again. Sonny goes tto school for the farewell and I continue with the winter cleaning. One can anyway not call it spring cleaning if it is done in winter.

An eventful constructive day and top it with solitude, a double omelette, hot soup and some stupid serial on television. Mom decides to watch Changeling as it was getting over and then Daddy dearest comes. The first day he drove alone fruitfully and mom mumbles a silent thank you to god. Sonny and Princess come together back from their missions. Sonny not happy with the food given and some small time camaraderie at school related and everyone back on their business. A small altercation over discipline and keeping footwear back and the day ended like any other day, happy, eventful and creative.
